There are many ways to monetize your blog. Figure out how you are going to make money.
Different methods work for different people. Think big.
Find out what works for you.
I suggest starting with one or two methods, really taking the time to learn how you can make money with it. Once you’ve mastered them, move on to the others. The easiest to start with are ads and affiliate marketing.
Some bloggers are against ads and I understand why. But then you find those who swear by them and make a lot of money with it. That’s why I love blogging. There are no rules. So do you boo. There are unlimited ways you can make money with your blog.
After a while start adding sponsorships, creating your own products, freelancing, services, and/or coaching. Creating your own products will give you more control over how much you earn along with more passive income.
Different monetization methods
1. Affiliate marketing
In simple terms, affiliate marketing is you get paid for promoting other people’s products and receiving a commission from them via your affiliate link. You direct a person towards a product that they need.
That will solve their biggest problem.
They become your fan and you become their hero. Everybody is happy.
Benefits of affiliate marketing
You can literally work from anywhere in the world all you need is your laptop and an internet connection
1) It can be very lucrative. People make thousands of dollars a month.
2) You are your own boss and have very flexible hours.
3) You make money in your sleep it’s called passive income.
4) There is no upfront cost to getting started.
5) You don’t need to create your own product so no worries about customer service.
2. Google Adsense
Granted, Google Adsense pays out the lowest amount of what you could earn with ads. But the nice thing about it is you do not have to have a certain amount of page views. As your blog grows you can join bigger ad networks as mediavine and ad thrive. They pay out a significant amount in ad income. But for newbies, Google Adsense is a great place to get started.
Having ads where, if people click on it you get paid a small amount per thousand clicks is a very passive form of income. You don’t have to do much except getting traffic to your blog, which is not an easy task.
3.Sponsorships
Sponsorships are where brands pay you to write about their products in order to get in front of your audience. Most sponsorships require a large social media following or a ton of blog pageviews. But you can always try reaching out to sponsors while you are growing your blog and social following.
4. Create your own products
Creating your own digital or physical products to sell can be a game-changer for your blogging business. This can include ebooks, seminars, courses, books, etc. The nice thing about selling your own products is you get a hundred percent of your earnings. Because it’s your own product you are in complete control of everything. However, it takes a lot of time to create. But it is passive income at its best once it’s done.

Freelancing is very cool because you can start making money right away by advertising your writing services on your blog and getting clients. Many other bloggers and freelance clients will pay you to write articles for their blogs and businesses.
6. Services
Services are almost the same as freelancing, you offer a service like becoming a virtual assistant or managing other bloggers’ social media accounts. Having a blog makes it easier to get people to hire you because they already get to know you through your blog. Seeing all the value you have to offer will make it easier for you to get clients if this is a way you want to make money from your blog.

7. Coaching
Coaching is basically selling your expertise to your audience. Teaching an individual or a group of people about something that you have a lot of knowledge about and is of high value to them. Coaching can be a very lucrative income stream. Just a handful of clients can earn you a significant income these days.
8. Write Reviews
Testing out products for a living and blogging about them can be a huge income potential for you. We do this anyway with some affiliate product reviews on our blogs.
But just focusing on reviews is a bit different. You do it on a much larger scale. Trying out different products and recommending the best one to your audience will make you more authentic and more trustworthy.
And it doesn’t have to cost you a lot. Some stores allow you to try out different products, then take the ones you don’t recommend back without paying for them. Many bloggers do that and it is a very nice income for your blog.
9. Blog Flipping
Flipping blogs is a very easy way to make money blogging. Even a small blog is worth money. Or you can build up your blog and then sell it for a profit. You can even buy a blog that has already been established by someone, invest some time and money in it and then flip it for a nice profit. Alternatively, you can keep it and enjoy the extra income.
